ST Series High-Power Fiber-coupled Diode Lasers

 

ST series high power and extremely compact and modular diode laser system significantly lowers the operating costs for energy and maintenance (e.g. 20% energy saving at 8 hours operating time compared to fibre lasers). These lasers are used for welding and cutting applications of plastics and metal as well as in many other manufacturing processes (e.g. annealing, tempering or soldering).

  • Safe operation by strict conformity to safety standards (fiber plug and break detection, interlock-, emergency-stop-interface, laser warning lights)

  • Optional equipment: optical fibers with variable length (5, 10, 20 m),

  • Laser process heads for various laser applications

  • Wall-plug efficiency of 30%, A comparison with systems in the same power class: CO2 laser - approx. 6 to 8 % efficiency, Fiber laser - approx. 20 to 25 % efficiency
